Extract exclusive components from diagrams

Some building pieces are only accessible through diagrams. This trick lets you extract them individually without completing the full structure.

Steps

1. Place the diagram

Open the build menu and select a diagram (e.g. Windmaster Tower). Place it in your construction zone.

2. Extract the component you want

Enter construction mode and hover over the specific piece you want (e.g. the stairs).
Extract it (press C on PC) so you can copy it elsewhere in the base.
You can optionally fill in the surrounding components first to make the target piece easier to see and select.

3. Delete the diagram

You do not need to fill the rest of the diagram. Walk near the diagram outside of construction mode and you will get an option to remove it.

Notes

• This works for any diagram, not just Windmaster Tower.
• The extracted component keeps its original appearance and can be placed freely.
• Filling nearby components before extracting is optional but makes selection easier on complex structures.
