The Marriage House

This building was inspired by the Victorian house style and I REALLY wanted those colored walls so I couldn't give those up. I Planned the floor distribution, looking at blueprints, looking what type of rooms exists in a Victorian House... distribution, decoration, etc.

For the garden I Went for something cottage, but due to the huge amount of bamboo in the area I decided no to fight it and incorporate the existent vegetation in my garden and even reinforced some bamboo to cover some other empty areas.

I Chose this location because long ago I made a promise to someone I would build a marriage house for the two of us by the Waterfall, but we fell apart and I never really looked back at this... until last week. Victorian houses are their favorite and dream house.

"Long ago, I promised you I would build a marriage house by the waterfall at the Flower Grove. Do you see it? I kept my promise."

This is the building I'm submitting for the Homestead Contest! Don't let it fool you, it has more to see than it shows!
